Zita transforms magnified surface photographs of raw ceramic
sculptures from her “Call me crazy” series into screen prints—placing
the portraits even more under the microscope and presenting them in
their raw, unfiltered state. Her current work explores the points of
connection between ceramics and screen printing: she documents the
surface of clay and creates large-format prints from these textures. In
doing so, she establishes a dialogue between the two mediums.
