1999-2001
Hungarian Academy of Arts
Zita Majoros graduated in 2001 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts with a degree in Printmaking.
2002–2008
Conceptual Fine Art Practice
During this period, she worked primarily as a conceptual artist, exhibiting her work in Hungary and internationally, including in Vienna, Ljubljana, and Belgrade.
Since 2009
Founder and Creative Director of Printa
In 2009, she founded the Printa brand, which has since served as the main platform for her creative work. Within Printa, she has developed numerous fashion collections, screen prints, and design objects, often focusing on sustainable practices and material experimentation.
Since 2020
Exploring a New Medium: Ceramics
Since 2020, she has been actively working with ceramics. In 2024, she launched her ongoing series Call Me Crazy, consisting of small-scale semi-abstract sculptures. Her recent work explores the intersection between ceramics and screen printing—documenting raw clay textures and transforming these structures into large-format screen prints, thus creating a dialogue between the two mediums.
